How Do I Start? Call and set up a free trial class and an appointment with one of our Managers
or Masters.

When can I start?
MDK martial arts program does not have a season or work in sessions. You may start at any time that is convenient for you.

What is a Master?
A Master is a WTF fourth degree black belt or higher that has Master Certification through Kukkiwon(TaeKwondo) or Daehan Hapkido Federation(Hapkido). Head master Tae Up Kang and other masters have this.  Master Kang also has BA degrees from Korean Universities in Oriental Martial Arts. His degree includes classes not only in martial arts and teaching styles and techniques but also an extensive curriculum in sports medicine and anatomy of the body. He has completed their Military service in the Korean Military and have trained to teach martial arts to all ages.

What is an assistant Instructor?
Instructors are WTF third Degree black belts that are preparing to become masters.

What Is an Instructor?
1st or 2nd degree black belts that have been hired to assist Masters in classes so that students get personal attention.

I have Never done this before!
That’s ok, everyone starts that way.

Do I need to be in shape or really flexible and coordinated to start?
No! You will find that after taking our classes over a period of time that you will become more limber, flexible and will get one of the best work outs ever that will put you in the best shape of your life.

I do not know if I am going to like this, Can I just try a class?
Yes! Everyone is invited to have a free trial class at any time. We also give you the option of a trial classes with a free uniform for $19.95. Two weeks trial will allow you to see if you will really enjoy MDK martial arts program, see if the schedule will really work for you and let you know if you can achieve your goals with us.

My Child is really shy, ……?
That’s ok, we do everything we can to make every student feel comfortable. We know that a martial arts school can be intimidating for many reasons and we have designed a system and program that makes both our students and their families welcome and comfortable.
