 Raj Ranganathan / Jr. Assistant Instructor

 1st Degree Black Belt
 
  Raj is an all "A" student in middle school. He is from Lemont, IL. He is equally as strong in his studies here at MDK. He holds 2nd degree Black Belt in  Taekwondo and 1st degree Black Belts in Hapkido. Raj's mother is especially partial to her son being in martial arts. As she tells it, Raj was slipping on ice one cold winter and instead of falling as any child would do, he was able to employ his falling techniques that he learned in hapkido class. If he hadn't fallen correctly as he did, he most certainly would have seriously hurt himself. As a result Mrs. Ranganathan became a true "believer" in martial arts and has since signed up her two older daughters for hapkido too.

 She started her Taekwondo training with Master Kang when she was 4 years old. Now she is 9 and is a 1st degree Black Belt. She is one of our briliant and faithful students. She never gives up her practice to be a master someday.

 He is holding 1st degree Black Belt and always looking forward to coming to class with smile on his face because his dream is to become a master. Master Kang loves his tornado Kick!!.

 Master Kang still remembers that she was the only student who kept smiling in Black Belt endurance test. Now she is training for 2nd    degree Black Belt and showing excellent respect and discipline to her family, school and all MDK students.

 Vito's entire family are MDK members. Vito holds a 1st degree Black Belt in Taekwondo and enjoys helping assisting in the instruction of the "Little Tigers" taekwondo class. His younger sister Isablla is a new member of the "Little Tigers" too. He is passionate about sparring and enjoys getting in a few rounds with his brother Matteo.

  Emily started traning with Master Kang when she was only five. Now at eight she has her first degree black belt. She is determined one day to make it to Korea so she can become a Master.
