As Martial Arts makes its way into school settings, educators and martial arts instructors alike are witnessing the power of martial arts for kids in their learning environment.

Master Tae Up Kang, physical educaton teacher in the Uno Charter School Network and founder of  Moo Do Kwan Martial Arts, is a pioneer in bringing martial Arts into the classroom. The philosophy of MDK is that optimal learning occurs when multiple learning styles are incorporated into teaching methods. We offer an interdisciplinary approach that combines movement, balance, co-ordination and overall physical development in their child, as well as better listening skills and concentration and social interactions with martial arts and education as the foundation.
